Technical Project Manager - Electro-Mechanical Systems Salary: $140k - $180k (Depending on experience) Location: White Plain, NY (On-site)
A cutting-edge technology firm is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional hardware-software projects in advanced electro-mechanical systems. This role combines engineering insight with agile execution to bring innovative devices from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end project delivery across engineering, quality, and operations
Manage timelines, resources, and risks for complex hardware-software systems
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams
Facilitate design reviews, test planning, and production readiness
Align activities with quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485)
Communicate status, risks, and decisions across stakeholders
Key Skills & Experience:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering or another relevant discipline
Strong industry experience leading multidisciplinary projects in regulated tech (medtech, robotics, aerospace)
Strong grasp of product development, testing, and launch processes
Skilled in agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
Proficient with tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Systems)
Familiarity with medical device standards a plus (FDA, ISO)
PMP certification a bonus
