Surgery - Trauma Physician

Seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Acute Care Surgicalist in northeast Arkansas. A hospital-based acute care surgeon serving one hospital and supporting a robust and busy established general surgery practice.

Opportunity Details:

• Employed inpatient surgicalist model (all shift work, no additional call)
• 14 days a month (flexible), 24-hour shifts
• Board-eligible or board-certified general surgeon
• Experience is preferred but not required
• Bread and butter general surgery, emergency, acute care surgeries
• Cover only 1 facility
• On/Off flexible scheduling
• New Surgery & ICU tower & recently completed a $7 million surgery expansion
• State of the art surgical suites featuring all new equipment & cutting-edge technology
• The hospital performs about 10,000 surgical procedures each year
• Active hospitalist and intensivist programs to assist with medical management
• 4 Da Vinci Xi Robots & 1 new Da Vinci 5 Robot
• Hospital-based and inpatient-focused surgicalist:
  • Managing inpatient consults
  • Rounding on patients
  • Covering emergent, acute care surgeries
