SUMMARY Responsible for creating and implementing therapeutic activities for residents in the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Thirty-six (36) hours Activity Director courses required
Other requirements include Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) certification and 6 months experience working in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology is required. Experience working in programming is strongly preferred
Ability to communicate and work well with people
Capable of working independently
Physical environment includes occasional standing or walking; minimal lifting or other physical exertion
The work environment involves exposure to blood-borne pathogens and infectious diseases
