JOB SUMMARY: The Nursing Home Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Nursing Home Administrative Director in overseeing operations and compliance across managed nursing facilities. This includes coordinating financial, regulatory, and quality reporting; conducting on-site visits; and facilitating communication between facilities and leadership. This exempt position requires regular travel and reports directly to the Nursing Home Administrative Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operational Oversight & Compliance:
- Coordinate with facility administrators to collect data for audits.
- Ensure timely reporting on census, A/R, and quality measures.
- Compile, maintain, and present statistical and operational reports to leadership.
- Develop systems for tracking contracts and MCO agreements.
- Maintain organized files for ownership.
- Site Coordination & Financial Monitoring:
- Conduct monthly on-site visits to each facility, rounding with staff and reviewing operations.
- Audit monthly financial statements and quality measure reports.
- Review facility benchmarks and propose adjustments as needed.
- Approve facility invoices for rent and management services.
- Communication & Liaison Duties:
- Act as liaison between Nursing Home Administrative Director and facility administrators.
- Assist with public responses to nursing home-specific concerns in collaboration with PR staff.
- Present summarized reports in preparation for Board meetings.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives in collaboration with accounting and administration.
- Additional Support:
- Maintain and update the contract management database.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Nursing Home Administrative Director.

Qualifications: - Education:
- Highschool diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of nursing home administrator experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care operations strongly preferred.
- Certification:

- Current Texas Nursing Facility Administrator license, or LVN/RN with MDS experience required.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Skills:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
