Position Summary | The Director of Clinical Placement is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all aspects of undergraduate and graduate clinical placements for the College of Nursing with the goal of creating the optimal student experience and desired student outcomes in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Academic Programs, the Director of Undergraduate Programs, and the Director of Graduate Programs. The Director will be responsible for all student documentation required for all clinical clearance of non-academic requirements. The Director engages with community partners for clinical placements for the College of Nursing. |

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | 1. 2-3-year experience in clinical placement of students or comparable work, and 2. 2–3-year experience in academic healthcare setting 3. Well organized and efficient in time management. 4. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external constituents. 5. Demonstrate excellent oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills. 6. Must be self-directed, exercise strong independent judgement, and function with minimal supervision, 7. Demonstrate management and leadership skills. 8. Ability to work independently as well as effectively in teams. 9. Autonomous in initiating desired work product. 10. Ability to articulate ideas and communicate with a variety of community members and project members. 11. Ability to develop and monitor widely varying details of technology related programs. 12. Must maintain and respect confidentiality of information. 13. Interpersonal skills that support an environment of respect, transparency, and sense of belonging 14. Working knowledge of applicable university policies and procedures and CON policies and procedures in student services settings.
