The HRIS & Compensation Specialist serves as a key support function within Human Resources, responsible for maintaining accurate employee and position data while supporting compensation programs and processes. This role manages HR system transactions within Oracle HCM (myHR), ensures the integrity of employee and job data, and supports job evaluation, market pricing, and compensation initiatives. The Specialist also provides customer service support to the campus community, serves as back-up for the HR front desk and HR Assistant, and contributes to system testing and process improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
â?¢ Bachelorâ??s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
â?¢ 1 year of experience in HRIS, Compensation, or related functional areas.
â?¢ Experience working with HRIS platforms and employee data management preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities,
â?¢ Working knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll processes, and employee data management best practices.
â?¢ High attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.
â?¢ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret job data, compensation metrics, and audit results.

â?¢ Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in system-driven environments.

â?¢ Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
